The Heat is On: How to Keep Your Cool as the World is Warming Up
with Patty
$35
Hot days aren’t just hard, uncomfortable or inconvenient. Even if you love the heat of summer, in these times of climate change-induced extreme weather conditions - from drought to heat domes to catastrophic storms and flooding - holistic heat management practices are a necessary component of family, community and collective care.
Parents and caregivers, teachers and workers, providers and practitioners of all kinds need robust tools for managing intense heat - so we can keep our cool while also supporting others in doing the same. This includes the necessary work of understanding our own responses to heat and how to “bring the temperature down” inside ourselves and in our daily lives and interactions.
Join Patty Adams for a workshop exploring simple and integrative strategies for managing the physical, mental, and emotional impacts of heat. Incorporating tools and frameworks from her training in yoga, Ayurveda (the “sister science” of yoga), public health and mental health, Patty will offer essential information on The Why and The How of Heat Management.
Participants will learn simple practices for increasing awareness of the impacts of heat, tools for mitigating heat and recovering from its impacts, and strategies for preventing the stress, friction, and overwhelm that can come from heat exposure.

Free Your Hips!
with Daria
$35
Tight hips, psoas, glutes and low back are all too common in a world that asks us to keep our big emotions to ourselves.
In Chinese medicine, the gall bladder meridian (which passes through the hips and glutes) is related to our anger and determination –and what goes unexpressed gets stored along this pathway creating stagnation, tightness & discomfort!
In this workshop series, we work with not only our physical body, but through the body’s subtle energetic and emotional bodies, for a full spectrum release you’ll immediately feel.
Through Meridian Yoga Therapy, acupressure, yin yoga and yoga nidra, you will let go of tension in the most unexpected places, because, well, everryyyything is connected!

New Moon
Slow Flow, Intention Setting, and Sound
with Alex
$35
A 90-minute offering to connect with your body, your breath, sound, and the energy of the New Moon.
The space opens with beginner - accessible movements, incorporating yoga shapes aligned with the energy and invitations of the New Moon that month. The flow will be slow, gentle, and steady, allowing participants to connect deeply with their breath and body.
After moving together, information about the New Moon and its associated themes will be shared, and there will be time to journal, to explore tarot and oracle cards, and to set an intention for the lunar cycle.
After the intentions have been set, everyone will settle into an extended rest, immersed in the vibration of sound bowls, to support their nervous systems into greater ease, and to invite a deeper integration of their intention into the subtle layers of the body.
The class is intended to offer grounding, calm, and clarity, as we transition into the week and the new lunar cycle.
